World Federation of Public Health Associations
The mission of the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) is to develop and promote effective global policies to improve the health of populations and to advance public health practice, education/training, and research.
The Oral Health Project consists of a worldwide group of experts who have joined together to promote integrated clinical and public health action in order to stop caries initiation and progression in order to move towards a Cavity-Free Future for all age groups. WFPHA has also supported projects for global tobacco control, HIV/AIDS, hand-washing campaigns, etc. WFPHA hosts an annual meeting and an International Congress on Public Health, which is a scientific conference for public health professionals from around the world. WFPHA publishes a monthly newsletter, special studies, reports, and conference proceedings, and the Journal of Public Health Policy.
